Join us for an evening of baseball when the Salt Lake Bees take on the El Paso Chihuahuas on the home field (Smith’s Ballpark, 77 West 1300 South). Tickets are $20/person and in addition to a seat in the St. Paul’s reserved section, a hot dog, chips, and soda. The fun does not stop after the last inning - it’s the annual Princess Night, themed fireworks AND, according to the Bees online schedule, a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission landing on the moon. Baptisms & Graduation Celebrations
Our Major Feast of the Holy Spirit is coming up. We already have two baptisms planned for the day. If there are others who are interested, please let Rev. Kurt know as soon as possible.
We will also celebrate people who are graduating from High School and College at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Please plan on being with us so we can recognize those in our community achieving these milestones.
The Reverend Kurt C. Wiesner will present the Acolytes with their crosses. The crosses have been engraved with each of the Acolytes names. They will be kept in the Sacristy in the box they came in.
Please note if you relocate or are no longer able to Acolyte, at that time you may take your cross with you. Thank you to all the families who have participated in this ministry. Your role in the Episcopal Church is important and I appreciate each one of you for your service.
St. Paul's parishioners Rhonda Uber and David Reed were two of the Diocese of Utah's Deputies (delegates) to the 79th General Convention of the Episcopal Church which met in Austin, Texas July 3-13.
They will discuss some of the actions of the Convention and some of their Convention experiences during St. Paul's Adult Forum on Sundays September 16 & 23 @ 9:15 a.m. Please join them in the Media Room on those two Sundays.
