St. Paul’s Food Pantry

St. Paul’s Food Pantry has continued to grow in service to our low-income and clients experiencing homelessness. Our pantry remains one of the few emergency food pantries operating in Salt Lake City.

We are participating again this year in "The Souper Bowl of Caring" sponsored by the Diocese beginning Monday, Jan. 14 through Saturday, Feb. 2. This year our pantry could receive up to $10,000 dollars in matching funds. A dollar for dollar match for any money donated and 25 cents of each food item donated. This comes at an excellent time of year since many grocery stores are also having case lot sales.  lease consider donating to the Pantry. You may place checks in the collection plate or bring them to the office with "pantry donation" in the memo line. Food items may be brought to any church service or to the office during the week.  Below is a list of those pantry staples:

·      peanut butter

·      chili

·      family-sized "chunky" soups

·      pork and beans

·      canned meals - spaghettio's, ravioli, etc.

·      ramen noodles

·      Vienna sausages

·      boxed macaroni and cheese

The pantry is open Saturdays and is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The pantry is supported by volunteers who serve clients on Saturday or pick and deliver food from the Utah Food Bank during the week.

If you are interested in volunteering, please use the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall or contact

But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
